Trip Options: We are currently updating specifics on trip options
Technique specific Largemouth
On these trips, we use artificial lures and target only Largemouth Bass “Tournament Style” these trips strictly catch and release and focus on seasonal patterns, lure choices and presentation, equipment selection and tutorial on understanding your electronics and how to locate fish.
These trips are design for families and kids as well as beginning Fisher Folks. We utilize live bait in an attempt to increase our odds and target basically anything that swims. We typically catch white Perch (which is excellent table fair), Catfish, Sunfish, Crappie, Striper and Bass.
Jordan Lake Striper
On these trips, we are targeting the healthy rebounding population of Striped Bass in Jordan Lake (which is the only lake in the Triangle area with Stripers) We utilize a variety of techniques, but mainly trolling with live bait and artificial lures or casting into schooling fish.
Late April/Early May offers some of the best fishing of the year for Stripers up on the river, due to the annual spawning run, the striper are thick and it is not uncommon to have 100+ fish days during that time. We use live bait, cut bait and artificial.
